Netball is the largest participant sport for women in Queensland with over 70,000 registered members across the state. In 1988 Whitsunday Netball Association moved to its current location at the Whitsunday Sports Park, Jubilee Pocket and in 1994 we became an official incorporation. Since then the club has continued to grow; we currently provide fixture competitions for Juniors, Senior Ladies and Senior Mixed as well as hosting an Annual NetSetGo and Junior Carnival.

Our Senior membership is ever growing with more teams in our social competition and more interest in attending senior carnivals. Over the past couple of years we have successfully taken teams to NQ Games, Netfest & a range of other smaller carnivals.

Our Junior membership continues to increase each year and makes up the highest percentage of our membership with players ranging from 5 to 18 years. Every year our Junior teams travel to regional carnivals across Central and North Queensland including Townsville, Bowen, Sarina, Burdekin, Mackay and Charters Towers.

Each year player interest and participation in the Mackay Junior Netball competition increases with teams across a range of age groups travelling and playing every Saturday.
